Last week my TiVo died on me!
I went out and bought a new TiVo HD and had it up and running by that same evening. I was lucky because I had downloaded most of my programs to my computer. It was still a painful experience, as I’m sure any TiVo addict like myself knows.

I still can’t believe my Tivo died on me the other day. Maybe it is a little scary just how addicted I am to it? Nah! It did teach me a few things though. I figured I’d share what I learned with any other Tivo addicts.

Woke up this morning and found my Tivo wasn’t recording anything. Very seldom that happens. So I decided to try hooking up a new video cable and somehow must have short circuited my Tivo. After a couple of hours, I ran over to Best Buy to get a new one. I can’t live without my Tivo. Now I get to spend time trying to figure out how I might get my recordings off the old one.
